One of the biggest misconceptions people have is that they think they have a constitutional right to a clean and healthy environment. Except for a few states, it's not in the constitution at all. We're working to dispel this notion and to educate people about how we can actually get one, through our #GreenAmendment Ambassador Program. We're having our first training on Wednesday, February 12 at 4pm PT / 5pm MT / 6pm CT / 7pm ET.In this session, we will be talking all about our Community Group Ambassador Educator role– a position where you talk with interested organizations and groups about the values of a Green Amendment and get them signed on in support. We will walk through all of the materials that come with the role and the outreach steps for success.This training session will be hosted on our Green Amendments Action Platform– a secure social media community where you can find trustworthy Green Amendments news and be the first to know about breaking Green Amendments news in your state.To register for the meeting, make sure you join our Green Amendment Ambassador group here: bit.ly/AmbassadorPlatform. The Nebraska Green Amendment (LR22CA) is getting its first hearing before the Natural Resources Committee: nebraskalegislature.gov/bills/view_bill.php?DocumentID=59675&fbclid=IwY2xjawITLk1leHRuA2FlbQIxMAA... The hearing is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, February 26. The hearing will take place at the Nebraska State Capitol Building with opportunities for public participation.
